Project Summary

What are this project's goals? How will you achieve them?

OddScreener is building the DexScreener for prediction markets—a professional-grade terminal that gives traders the analytics tools they need to make informed decisions on platforms like Polymarket and Kalshi.

The Problem: Prediction markets are growing rapidly ($84M+ daily volume on Polymarket alone), but traders lack the tooling that crypto and stock traders take for granted. There's no unified screener, no whale tracking, no way to connect breaking news to tradeable markets.

The Solution: OddScreener provides:

- Real-time Market Screener — 2,100+ markets with filtering by category, volume, price movement, spread quality, and expiration

- Integrated Trading — Trade directly on OddScreener without leaving the platform

- Whale Tracker — Track the most profitable traders (top performers making $1M+ weekly) and monitor their positions

- News-to-Markets Feed — Live news aggregation with relevance scoring that links breaking stories directly to tradeable markets

- Watchlist & Alerts — Personal tracking and notifications for price movements

- Multi-Platform Vision — Currently supporting Polymarket, with Kalshi integration in development

The MVP is live at https://oddscreener.xyz and functional today.

Partnerships: Entering the Polymarket Builders Program, which will provide deeper platform integration and support.

How will this funding be used?

Allocation | Purpose

40% Infrastructure & APIs — Server costs, data feeds, real-time WebSocket connections

30% Development — Kalshi integration, Insider Tracker, mobile optimization

20% Marketing & Growth — Community building, content, user acquisition

10% Buffer — Unexpected costs, security audits

Specific milestones:

1. Kalshi platform integration (Q1)

2. Insider Tracker launch — surface wallets with unusual pre-announcement activity

3. Mobile-responsive improvements

4. API access for power users

---

Who is on your team? What's your track record on similar projects?

Solo developer with experience building trading tools and automation systems. Previously shipped working products in the prediction market space, including bots and analytics tools used by active traders.

Track record:

- Built and launched OddScreener MVP

- Active in prediction markets since 2023

- Technical background in full-stack development (Next.js, real-time data, blockchain integration)

The MVP speaks for itself—it's live, functional, and processing millions in daily volume data.

---

What are the most likely causes and outcomes if this project fails?

Most likely failure modes:

1. Platform dependency — If Polymarket/Kalshi restrict API access or change terms, data collection becomes harder. Mitigation: Building relationships with platforms, diversifying data sources.

2. Competition from platforms themselves — Polymarket could build native analytics. Mitigation: Move faster, stay multi-platform, build features they won't prioritize.

3. User acquisition stalls — Traders don't adopt third-party tools. Mitigation: Free tier, embed viral loops (shareable whale alerts), community building.

4. Funding runs out before revenue — Can't sustain development. Mitigation: Lean operation, potential premium tier, this grant.

If the project fails:

- Users lose a free tool (no financial harm to them)

- Learnings published for future builders

- Code potentially open-sourced

---

How much money have you raised in the last 12 months, and from where?

$0 in external funding. This project has been entirely self-funded and bootstrapped.

This is the first external funding request. All development, infrastructure, and operations have been personally covered to date.
