Project summary
“Planting the future by eating well in the present” is a phrase that highlights the importance of cultivating healthy eating habits now to ensure a better future, both for ourselves and for the planet. This means making food choices that are nutritious and sustainable, benefiting not only our personal health, but also the environment and future generations.
By prioritizing a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins, we are investing in our long-term health, reducing the risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and obesity. In addition, opting for fresh and minimally processed foods can reduce the environmental impact of our diet, helping to preserve natural resources and biodiversity.
What are this project's goals? How will you achieve them?
The aim of this project is to make people aware of how their choices can impact the world through more conscious eating, protecting animals, health and the environment.
How will this funding be used?
This funding will be used to continue our campaigns such as vegan school snacks, where we gave talks in public schools and served snacks to the children.
Who is on your team? What's your track record on similar projects?
Our team is made up of around 10 volunteers, and this project is already underway. We are just looking to increase our funding so that we can carry out the project on a longer-term basis.
What are the most likely causes and outcomes if this project fails?
Lack of funding has been our challenge, because without more funding we can't carry out programs more effectively, which limits our scope of action. But within what we can do, we make do with what we have, and we think that a failure is an opportunity for improvement.
What other funding are you or your project getting?
At the moment we have other funding coming from thrive philanthropy.
