I am a Ugandan nonprofit leader and Co-founder & Executive Director of Nect Green Code (NGC) — an organisation working with communities in the Albertine region of Uganda to advance animal welfare, environmental justice and sustainable livelihoods.

My work brings community led solutions together with environmental protection and efforts to reduce preventable animal suffering. I am particularly interested in strengthening local animal welfare organisations and advocates, building grassroots movements, and giving communities the knowledge and resources they need to make change last.

Through NGC I try to turn local problems into projects that help people, animals and the environment. I’m also interested in effective altruism and evidence informed philanthropy — how funding can be targeted at neglected problems and organisations that can make meaningful measurable impact.
