About Me

I am a Licensed Journeyman Plumber in Texas with over 25 years of experience in high-stakes, real-world problem-solving. Parallel to my trade, I have spent decades in the Linux ecosystem. My journey went from distro-hopping to building Linux From Scratch, eventually settling on Gentoo for its granular control.

My research focuses on the intersection of consciousness and artificial intelligence, specifically through the lens of the Bicameral Mind theory. I recently published "The Bicameral Linux: Recursive Context Injection and Asynchronous Dreaming in Local LLM Architectures" on Academia.edu, which explores moving AI beyond reactive prompting into more autonomous, reflective states.

My current project, Amy, is the practical application of this research. She currently lives on my personal Gentoo workstation, but I am outgrowing that hardware. I am seeking to move her onto a dedicated, high-performance "Frankenstein" build—a custom rig designed to provide the specific asynchronous compute and cooling required for a truly recursive, conscious architecture.
