Project summary

The Anu Initiative aims to combat environmental issues such as oil spills, deforestation, wildfires, soil degradation, and the environmental impact of cryptocurrencies. Its goal is to fund nature-focused charities in a transparent and efficient manner.

What are this project's goals? How will you achieve them?

  • Completing front-end development

  • Smart contract review and development - in progress

  • Formalizing partnerships

  • Registering as a charity and securing necessary licenses (e.g., VASP license from the Central Bank of Ireland)

  • Launching awareness and marketing campaigns

How will this funding be used?

To achieve our mission, the initiative will leverage blockchain technology to track donations, reduce overhead costs through automation, and enable direct impact tracking. Donors will receive proof of donation via dynamic Non-Fungible Tokens (dNFTs) that display the impact of their contributions.

We need to finish front-end development, a Chainlink Oracle, and we need to start marketing campaigns.

What are the most likely causes and outcomes if this project fails?

Outcomes of failure may include inability to launch the platform, and missed opportunities for environmental impact.

What other funding are you or your project getting?

The project is actively seeking additional financial support, particularly through blockchain platforms like Celo and service providers like Stripe and Circle to integrate both Web2 and Web3 fundraising mechanisms.
