The Volta Education Suite: AI Risk Engine is a free and local educational software for K-12 students, with higher education as a stretch goal for future releases (late 2027). Through interactive 3D models, forecasting, simulations, and AI failure cases, the user can educate themselves on AI X-risk. Furthermore, the user has a choice of local or API models to supplement and not substitute their learning of AI X-risk. The AI Risk Engine will also be deeply integrated with the mainstream Volta Education Suite, including its currently developed records system and workspaces for educational institutions.
This education will be done by developing VES:ARE, then distributing it with my partnership and memoranda of understanding with a nonprofit in Southwest Cameroon that is teaching AI classes. I am also connecting with other successful grantees (such as @aashkapatel) for distribution opportunities.

This software will release, with funding, in Q4 2026. However, without funding, development will be slower with a likely early 2027 release.
I am the sole developer. I have been successful with similar projects, developing an in-progress math engine which currently includes a 2D/3D calculator, and VES's main application, which includes a developing records system. These projects have given me the background to create a program like this.
A lack of partnering educators would cripple VES:ARE's impact and could ultimately cause the project to fail.
I will continue searching for partners for my software, although if that fails after a while, I will discontinue VES:ARE rather than indefinitely spend resources attempting to maintain it.
