I'm Skander, a young builder from Tunisia, Africa, recently accepted into the Silicon Valley Fellowship. This is a tremendous opportunity for me, as I've been trying to break into the USA since high school. I'm seeking funding to attend this program.

What's the Silicon Valley Fellowship?

It's a 5-day bootcamp designed to fast-track participants into Silicon Valley through workshops, a private community, and networking events. The program is highly competitive, with only 20–25 participants selected from over 700 applicants per batch.

The fellowship includes talks by industry leaders from companies like Google and Amazon, visits to prestigious institutions such as Stanford and UC Berkeley, and networking opportunities with investors and founders. Participants also gain lifetime access to a Slack community for ongoing opportunities.

Securing funding for this fellowship is crucial. It will allow me to network with industry leaders, gain startup insights, and unlock global opportunities. I plan to leverage these connections to create opportunities that align with my goals:

• Transform Tunisia into a Hub for AI – By advancing my skills in Silicon Valley and breaking into the USA, I aim to bring back the expertise and technologies needed to position Tunisia as a leader in AI.

• Drive Social Impact through a High-Impact Startup – I aspire to establish a startup that prioritizes local impact and fosters innovation in Africa, creating jobs and mentoring young talent.

How Will This Funding Be Used?

$2,000 for tuition fees and $1,300 for travel, visa, insurance, and living expenses.

What Are the Most Likely Causes and Outcomes if This Project Fails?

If I can't attend, I'll miss this wonderful opportunity and forfeit a $300 deposit I've set aside from my savings.
