After Epstein and Weinstein fell, billionaires and oligarchs starting taking out downside risk insurance policies against whistleblowers by financing harassment, retaliation, and security threats against them.
Every day in my plaintiff advising practice, and my own legal activism, I am trying to protect my clients with shoestring budgets against some of the wealthiest players in the world.
People who don't want AI to be ethical, but profit-driven. People who want their AIs to hack their adversaries, just not their own tech stacks.
In my work speaking with and supporting over 150+ tech whistleblowers, and being one myself, I have learned what the space needs. And it is distributed risk solutions that allow principled people being targeted to record what is happening to them in a court credible way, and it is distributed funding that allows people to finance the activism they want to see in the world.
Because most people don't want to upend their life to be an activist - but over 90% of the plaintiffs I interact with have been effectively neutralized by the time I found them. They are bankrupted, sick, scared, and are being alienated from their networks.
So I'm building products that address that.
Seen is a harassment and retaliation logging software that coaches clients through how to log the most relevant evidence of threat events with time stamps, that can be exported with metadata for protective orders/trials. It helps them get to safety, then create the records they need for credibility, while supporting them in a trauma-informed way to preserve operational security.
WithMe is a collective litigation financing platform that helps plaintiffs mount legal challenges to powerful actors, and crowdfund the costs of security/life costs while under threat.
The sites are scoped with detailed PRDs and a development firm has been selected to build them. An MVP of WithMe is up here: nofightalone.com.
Please help me and plaintiffs like me stay alive through our trials. Bad actors are rampant right now and someone has to speak truth to power.
Help AI whistleblowers take on major industry players who put profit over safety. Help people know that collectively, they are not powerless against societal risks; they are powerful.
$16k Seen development (project already scoped; can be completed within eight weeks).
$22k WithMe technical build out (to allow both collective litigation finance, and survival cost backing)
$5k Legal fees to contractually navigate collective litigation finance
$15k Founder time and security costs
I am a serial founder who has been building products for the last 18+ years. I am trained in business strategy by McKinsey, product management and development by Meta, and startup growth and development by Insight Partners. I run my own company working with mission-driven startup CEOs and high stakes plaintiffs. And I have been a whistleblower for 5+ years, with cases that have been in 200+ major news outlets. I work quickly, well, and with high standards. I typically manage 20+ workstreams or projects simultaneously; I am trained to handle up to 40.
Whistleblowers will die, and major threats to the world will be swept under the rug. I cannot personally advise every whistleblower who comes to me. Some of them are too bankrupted, sick, or scared for me to get to them in time, and I don't have capacity to personally serve more than 5-10 at a time myself. In the last year, two people I knew closely died due to lack of security funding/support/services.
I haven't; I am putting my project slate on Manifund because I have reached the limit of what I can do with the resources I have.
