his is a 12-month pilot project designed to build a simple, privacy-guarded AI assistant and run a practical "AI Literacy School" for immigrants facing severe integration crises in Poland. Instead of chasing mass users, the project will focus on a meticulously curated micro-cohort of 20–30 highly vulnerable individuals representing a wide spectrum of displacement contexts, specifically including neurodivergent individuals (ADHD, trauma-induced cognitive loads), persons with disabilities, and individuals experiencing acute PTSD. The tool strictly references verified immigration frameworks to eliminate legal hallucinations, while evaluating how AI models can adapt to diverse human psychological trauma, sensory-bureaucratic triggers, and unique cognitive accessibility needs.

What are this project's goals? How will you achieve them?

The project focuses on two main goals: AI training for immigrants and the creation of an AI tool. To achieve this, the training itself will directly support adaptation, and the AI tool will also help with adaptation. The tool will be adapted to all languages, understanding how to fetch correct sources and ensure safety. Additionally, this process will help build a community, train the model based on this experience, and provide the possibility to study human behavior under stressful circumstances so that the model can be used in other parts of the Earth in the future.

How will this funding be used?

The funding will be transparently used over twelve months to build the application and support the community without any inflation of costs. A specific portion of the grant will pay for the subscriptions to visual no-code software builders and secure web hosting, which act as the construction blocks to assemble the interface without traditional programming. Another part of the budget is reserved for the artificial intelligence model provider, paying strictly for the computing volume used when the models read verified legal documents and process translations for our focus group. To ensure I do not face technical roadblocks, a clear section of the funds will be used to hire a part-time freelance assistant who understands these visual software builders and will handle the technical assembly under my direct guidance. Since I am already employed, the portion allocated for me will not cover my entire living expenses, but will strictly compensate for the extra hours of work required every week to manage the project, curate the official laws, structure the text filters, and run the AI literacy workshops as a coordinator. Finally, a strict safety cushion is kept untouched to handle unexpected software updates, privacy compliance checks, and protect the sensitive data of our vulnerable users.

Who is on your team? What's your track record on similar projects?

I am a solo founder who currently works as a caseworker at a human rights foundation, which gives me direct, daily access to the immigrant community in Warsaw and the practical ability to implement this initiative. My past track record includes working as a Field Protection Assistant at the UN I where I gained firsthand experience handling integration crises and administrative paperwork on the ground. My educational background includes unfinished higher education in Mathematics and Systems Analysis, which provides me with a foundational understanding of data structures, alongside a course completion in AI Ethics from the University of Helsinki.

What are the most likely causes and outcomes if this project fails?

The most likely cause of failure would be unexpected technical delays in setting up the automated text-anonymization features, language translation filters, and the verification of official legal information, as I do not have a deep software engineering background. To mitigate this risk, I have explicitly allocated funds from the budget to hire a part-time freelance technician who will assemble the visual builders under my direct guidance. Additionally, because the pilot focus group is strictly limited to a tiny cohort of highly specific vulnerable individuals, any automated software glitch can be immediately caught and audited manually by me to protect user privacy. If the project fails to scale into a large application, the outcome will still be highly valuable, as the educational frameworks for the AI Literacy School and the curated bilingual database of simplified immigration rules will be open-sourced to help other human rights foundations and NGOs.
