The AI–Animal Observatory gathers intelligence about the field of AI–animal interactions and incidents, with a particular focus on autonomous systems developed for commercial farming.
What are this project's goals? How will you achieve them?
The AIAO's goal is to make AI and automation go well for animals. AIAO's publications and dossiers will arm advocates with strategy-guiding insights and a compelling statistical case for regulation and resource allocation dedicated to AIxAnimals issues.
How will this funding be used?
Single salary, data pipeline development, and travel to four agricultural technology conferences

There is no legislative will to regulate AIxAnimals (alignment is irrelevant to commercial farming so far, as all of these autonomous systems rely on very unsophisticated technology; thus regulation is the most plausible solution)
