Ghost Mesh turns any AI decision into a tamper-evident "trust receipt" — cryptographic, independently checkable proof of what an AI system did and why, verifiable offline in the browser with no trusted server. It's a working Rust engine + in-browser WASM verifier — run it yourself: dearmai.app/showcase (real client-side SHA-256 receipt); anchordeck.io is the product surface. Provisional patent #64/092,678 filed. This grant funds a solo founder to harden the verifier and publish an open verification spec, so AI accountability becomes something anyone can check rather than trust.
Goal: make AI decisions independently verifiable. As AI takes on more autonomous action, society is losing the ability to confirm what these systems actually did — especially offline, or where no trusted third party exists. We close that gap with a verifiable "trust receipt": cryptographic proof anyone can check, offline, with no trust in the issuer. We get there by (1) hardening the existing Rust verification engine and in-browser WASM verifier, (2) publishing an open verification specification so the method is auditable and adoptable by others, and (3) shipping a reference deployment. The receipt path works and is inspectable today.
Bridge runway for a solo founder working full-time. At the $5,000 minimum, I can sustain ~3 weeks of focused work on hardening the verifier. At the $50,000 goal, I can fund several months of full-time work to harden the verifier, publish and maintain the open verification spec, and commission an independent security review. Funds go almost entirely to the founder's runway; compute is offset by startup cloud credits. No lobbying; minimal hosting overhead.
Solo founder: a senior infrastructure architect who designed, built, and shipped the entire system alone — the Rust verifiable-trust engine, the in-browser WASM verifier, and two live demos (dearmai.app/showcase, anchordeck.io) — and filed the provisional patent (#64/092,678). Ghost Mesh Inc. is a Delaware C-corp. A prospective CTO (data governance domain) is in discussions but not yet signed. Track record: a career spent making complex systems trustworthy — and the working, inspectable demos are themselves the strongest evidence: they exist and run today, built solo and fast.
Most likely cause: insufficient runway forces the solo founder to take outside work, stalling development, which this funding directly mitigates. Secondary risk: slow adoption, since verifiable-audit primitives are early and demand depends on regulation (Colorado AI Act, EU AI Act, AICPA audit) maturing on schedule. Outcome if it fails: the verifier and the open spec still exist as public, inspectable artifacts that others can build on — the work isn't lost even if this company doesn't carry it forward.
$0 raised. The company has received no external investment or grants — it has been entirely self-funded by the founder from personal funds since incorporation in June 2026. A separate non-dilutive application is in progress with the Survival and Flourishing Fund (no funds received yet). This would be among the company's first outside capital.
