I work on Identity-Based Alignment: the claim that every major evolutionary transition solved its alignment problem through identity integration rather than external control, and that this transfers to machine intelligence. Lead author of the AIES 2026 paper on this, and a member of the AIES 2026 Program Committee. Also run a production multi-agent field site and Pool, an open commons of shared resources.
