About Me

I’m a founder, strategic communications and public engagement specialist, and high-impact generalist with 10+ years building organisations, programmes and communities across Africa and Asia.

During COVID-19, I founded Wailing Women as a mentorship initiative giving women community and mental health support. It has since grown into programmes including the I Overcame podcast, conferences and bootcamps, directly impacting 5,000+ women globally.

I've also built a personal development coaching practice serving 300+ clients across multiple continents with 100% 5star ratings, alongside a YouTube platform with 5,500+ subscribers focused on women's empowerment and faith.

I bring 16+ years in competitive debate, public speaking and talent development. I'm a multiple award-winning speaker and adjudicator, including Best Female Speaker in Botswana and a Top 10 finish at the Pan African Universities Debating Championship, with multiple Best Judge awards and service on Chief Adjudication Panels at major tournaments. I've also designed programmes, trained young people, and organised, facilitated and adjudicated 100+ debates, conferences, workshops and leadership programmes internationally, including on the Organising Committee of the World Universities Debating Championship (1,200+ participants).

This is backed by a First-Class BA from the University of Botswana and an MA in International Relations from the University of Seoul, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude as a Korean Government Scholarship recipient. I'm multilingual in English, Setswana, Korean and Chinese, and have lived, studied and worked across Africa, Asia and Europe.

A 2023 CEEALAR residency in Blackpool, UK, followed by a 2024 Ambitious Impact Global Placement at Lafiya Nigeria, redirected my career toward high-impact work — applying strategic communications and public engagement expertise to reproductive and maternal health in Northern Nigeria. Subsequent BlueDot Impact courses deepened my exposure to AI safety and biosecurity, sharpening my direction: building the talent pipelines, programmes, communities and public-engagement infrastructure high-impact fields need.

I'm already applying this through The Good Debate, a fieldbuilding initiative in progress connecting leading minds to pressing problems and providing pathways to contribute.

I want to bring my experience in zero-to-one building, programme design, strategic communications, community and fieldbuilding, end-to-end event execution, talent development and cross-cultural engagement directly into AI safety and other high-impact fields.
