I am a Zimbabwean with a strong passion for animal welfare, environmental sustainability and community development. I hold a BSc (Honours) in Biological Sciences and Ecology and have several years of experience in veterinary administration, customer service and organisational management.

Through my professional experience in the veterinary sector, I have developed a deeper appreciation for the importance of accessible animal healthcare, preventive medicine and responsible animal ownership. I am particularly concerned about the challenges faced by vulnerable animals and communities, especially as climate change, poverty and limited access to essential services continue to affect their wellbeing.

These concerns inspired me to establish the Community Animal Health & Leadership Initiative (CAHLI), an emerging community-led organisation dedicated to improving animal welfare, advancing One Health, promoting climate resilience and empowering communities through education, youth development and sustainable livelihoods.

I believe that meaningful change begins at the community level. My goal is to bring together veterinary professionals, young people, educators and community members to develop practical, compassionate and lasting solutions to challenges affecting both people and animals.

Through CAHLI, I hope to build an organisation that not only responds to immediate needs but also creates opportunities for education, leadership, innovation and long-term community resilience.

I am particularly interested in collaborating with individuals and organisations who share a commitment to animal welfare, environmental protection, equitable opportunities and positive social impact.
