I research the intersection of AI governance, biosecurity, and geopolitical competition, with a particular focus on how China and the US are shaping the trajectory of advanced AI.

My background is in international relations and political violence (University of Amsterdam, LUISS Guido Carli, China Foreign Affairs University), which I'm now applying to questions with high societal impact: how powerful technologies get governed across borders that don't trust each other. And what happens when they don't.

I study in Beijing, which gives me a perspective on Chinese AI governance discourse that most Western researchers don't have direct access to. Currently, finishing a double master's focused on Chinese international relations, completing BlueDot's biosecurity and AGI strategy courses, and building a research portfolio at the intersection of great power competition and AI risk.
