I completed my graduate studies at Harvard University, where my thesis looked at the effects of domestication on orofacial and vocal motor control. I am now working in collaborations, where I have moved from production mechanisms in this area to issues of anthropomorphism and anthropodenialism in human perceptions of animal faces and vocal behaviors for welfare purposes.
