In the early 2000s, I became one of the Stationmasters of SMTH BBS — China's most elite academic forum — as the first person with no Tsinghua or CAS affiliation.

I studied computer science in college. After graduation, I worked in the field for about a year, then left for what I actually loved — writing. That was over twenty years ago. Computing never really left, though. It just became a personal hobby instead of a job.

I've spent 13+ years at Nutcracker Studio doing science communication and narrative creation. That body of work is now the raw material for a structured taxonomy of creative quality. My core bet: teaching AI to judge creative quality is a data-quality problem, not a data-quantity problem — and it's solvable with small, expert-curated datasets.
