I am the National Director of Pause AI Kenya, where I lead national efforts to raise awareness about artificial intelligence safety and ethics. Passionate about the intersection of technology, social equity, and responsible innovation, I have been instrumental in establishing the Kenyan chapter of Pause AI. My work focuses on building grassroots awareness, mobilizing volunteers, and engaging with policymakers, educators, and the public on the risks and opportunities of AI. Through Pause AI Kenya, I have coordinated community meetups, spearheaded flyering and outreach campaigns, and laid the foundation for national advocacy on AI safety in Africa. My leadership reflects a commitment to ensuring that AI development in Kenya and the wider region prioritizes human well-being, fairness, and long-term safety.
