I'm a legal researcher turned AI governance researcher, focused on catastrophic risks from advanced AI, specifically concentration of power and the institutional design needed to prevent it. My current research tests how frontier-excluded states convert structural leverage into bargaining power over international AI governance.
Recent work: "The Institutional Tempo Problem" (AI Policy Lab, Oct 2026); The Harm Index, an independent AI policy publication; graduated with Distinction from CAIDP's AI Policy Clinic (100% final exam), now co-leading an international research cohort there.
I'm also building AI Safety Bangladesh, the country's first AI safety community, coordinating with counterpart communities in Nepal, Sri Lanka, UAE, and Tanzania, working toward a Global South AI safety network.
I work from Chattogram, Bangladesh, with no local ecosystem, everything above was built remotely through cold outreach, free courses, and public writing.
