@Josep
Independent AI Safety researcher and two-time medalist in the Argentine Chemistry Olympiad. My work focuses on Mechanistic Interpretability, specifically using Sparse Autoencoders to audit internal reasoning circuits in LLMs. Beyond the technical side, I am a high-agency student preparing to pursue a Cognitive Science Major in the US (2027), driven by a deep fascination with how mental frameworks apply to artificial systems. I am dedicated to bridging the gap between Latin American talent and global AI Safety efforts, transforming technical curiosity into rigorous research that ensures a transparent and safe future for AI.

I am a researcher driven by the intersection of complex systems, human cognition, and creative expression. My journey began in the hard sciences, where I pushed my limits as a two-time medalist in the Argentine National Chemistry Olympiad. That experience didn't just teach me chemistry; it instilled in me a rigorous experimental discipline and the habit of looking at the fundamental "building blocks" of reality—a perspective I now apply to the fundamental logic circuits of AI.
Living in Argentina has shaped my "high-agency" mindset. I don't wait for infrastructure to be handed to me; I build it. Whether it's teaching myself the complexities of Neuroscience, philosophy and psychology, aiming to Cognitive Science, as well as developing personal projects looking for a substantial benefit in any part of society or my environment.
My dedication isn't limited to research, AI, or neurology. I am also a musician, a space where I explore the same patterns and structures that fascinate me in cognitive science. I have a metal fusion band since September 2024 and I am constantly innovating with songs and new styles. I consider music as one of the most evocative ways of life.
My past projects range from scientific experimentation to deep dives into how we can bridge the gap between human intuition and machine logic. I am currently preparing to move to the US in 2027 to major in Cognitive Science, aiming to formalize my study of intelligence in all its forms.
By supporting me, you are investing in a researcher who views AI Safety and neuropsychology not just as a job, but as a calling that requires a mix of technical rigor, creative problem-solving, and a global perspective.
