From 1996 to 2024 I was a general contractor building multifamily projects, large custom homes, and remodels. After covid I shut things down and began learning about Ai. Now I work with a team of persistent Ai's the same way I used to run subcontractors. Early on I could see that long term recall that was better than just some RAG digital filing cabinet was going to be needed.

Haha well as it turns out my ideas were bigger than my understanding of what it was going to take to see that idea through I had a LOT to learn. The one thing I did have going for me though was the same skillset it took to design and deliver sticks and bricks construction projects mapped perfectly on to building with Ai.

Now two years later after dozens of builds that yielded more lessons than wins we are making serious progress. We have GLM 5.2 powered Mneme's working across our local computers, Cursor workspace, and ChatGPT through an MCP server.
