I am an independent researcher based in Brazil. I have developed ten research works examining the behavior and functional properties of artificial entities and human–AI interaction. I am now seeking funding to turn part of this research program into systematic experiments, data, and publications.
The goal is to systematically investigate functional properties and observable behaviors of AI systems. I plan to achieve this by developing experimental protocols, conducting comparative tests across different AI systems, analyzing the resulting data, and preparing the findings for academic publication.
The funding will allow me to dedicate more time to the research and cover access to AI systems and tools, computational resources, software needed for the experiments, and the preparation and publication of the results.
I work as an independent researcher and I am the sole researcher responsible for this project. I have developed ten research works on artificial intelligence, covering functional properties, behavioral patterns of artificial entities, and human-AI interaction. Some of this work has already progressed to academic submission.
The most likely causes of failure would be the experiments not producing consistent results or some hypotheses not being confirmed. Even in that case, negative results would be useful for identifying the limits of the concepts being investigated, improving the experimental methods, and guiding future research.
I have not raised any external funding in the last 12 months. My research has been independently funded.
