Project summary

This project is focusing on AGI Development that is different than current  standard LLM associated AI model like Agentic AI. I propose departure from digitalization to analog  since digital is at its plateau and consuming a lot of energy and data..  However as public first step in my solo researcher career, I first will develop a method to prove if an AI is AGI or not. Biologically , I consider all living things as AGI though human has the most neuron but I hypothesize animal and even plant also work similar with human brain though with lower number of neuron or intelligence connection. So the first research paper I am working on will have title: Perfect One vs All  Necessity for  Out of Distribution Generalization in AGI

Note: I will not use any AI tool to improve the writing and I promise not to use it except for exploratory purposes so I can practice and improve my writing skill so feel free to give me feedback on my writing skill. I love learning though please be gentle with me.

What are this project's goals? How will you achieve them?

This is the first step for my project and I aim to finish it in 3 months to 6 months boundary. I will communicate through email and video call for contributor through patricklagaunne@gmail.com. The first step goals are to:   

1.  Review out of distribution papers and  AGI evaluation papers

2.  Review on how one vs all ground improve the reasoning in current LLM

3.  Review and research why current LLM does not model one vs all completely

4. Develop steps to test if AI is AGI or not  based on perfect one vs all necessity

5. Write the research paper

How will this funding be used?

The funding is use for monthly allowance to help support myself and family so I can focus on working on this. I work on selling herbal drink and coconut rice as my main job for now as part of my schizophrenia treatment. The funding will really help me so I can focus on developing AGI.

I am only asking for $500 for month of May and will make new funding request for sequential month with update of previous month result.

Who is on your team? What's your track record on similar projects?

I am currently a solo researcher. I hold a BS in Pure Mathematics and an MS in Plant Science (University of Missouri), where I specialized in AI residue modeling in agriculture. After that , I spent two years as a Data Analyst at Oishii Farm Corporation, working on analyzing error of flower and strawberry counting with camera cart and make data visualization of strawberry farm.

For the past six years, I have navigate my schizophrenia condition. Through those time I was able to originate ideas on fundamental of Theory of AGI even though its not rigorous yet. I plan to slowly make it rigorous by studying pure math more and build the axiom and proof for it. This project is the first step to make rigorous work for the theory.

What are the most likely causes and outcomes if this project fails?,

This project is low risk and high return investment though for me it use a lot of time to work on it but I don’t really need expensive GPU to work on it and instead of trying to build the AGI hardware, I focus on first developing the foundational ground for the idea because I believe current AGI development lack pure math touch and theoretical groundwork.   Other than that, As I am not in perfect position with my schizophrenia condition. I might be slower than I hope to be. I have developed a lot of ideas in my 6 years and struggling at focusing for long time. I am training myself on focus and cognition  by having mentor and learn to be guided by a manager as a coconut rice and herbal drink seller in Palembang Indonesia.

$0. Previously, I have been doing AGI research part time throughout my grad school and work at Oishii Farm Corporation and I don’t use GPU to work on it so It cost $0.
