Fahd Kharim Ssevume (Dash Meizler) is the founder of Podrška Foundation, a Ugandan non-profit advancing both human and animal welfare. Dash’s vision is rooted in multispecies justice: supporting vulnerable communities while promoting compassionate, sustainable food systems that reduce animal suffering. Through initiatives like Project Grow (a plant-based household program) and University Vegan Clinics, Podrška has reached thousands through workshops, street outreaches, and campus advocacy. Known for his pragmatic and innovative methods of spreading veganism, Dash blends immediate impact (meals, education, outreach) with long-term capacity-building, empowering youth and communities to create independent, compassionate futures. He is now seeking to connect with global funders, decision-makers, and thought leaders in animal advocacy, food systems, and humanitarian work to test and scale models that can influence culture, policy, and systemic change across Africa and beyond.
